The Grounding Space has evolved into a literal a space! I am working a ¼ acre plot with a phenomenal cohort of farmers that genuinely care about biodiversity and food access. It has been a privilege to watch others steward their ¼ acre. My emphasis is on CA native habitat restoration – specifically narrow leaf milkweed for the monarch butterfly. Once again, I am going against the grain and taking biodiversity within agriculture one step further. I am striving to cultivate habitat for the monarch butterfly and other CA native animal/insect relatives, all while breaking the agricultural norm. Thus far I have planted approximately 400 CA native plants and I will continue to add native plants each season. Donations will go towards seeds, propagation materials, tools, irrigation and labor costs. My big picture goal is to acquire liability insurance in hopes of offering educational tours and workshops. This is a labor of love. It has been a privilege being in relationship with the soil, animals and elements. Thank you for your continued support.
